Privacy Policy
1. Data we do not collect
The app does not collect, store on a developer server, transmit, or share your name, email address, contacts, location, device identifiers, advertising ID, microphone or camera data, reading or play history, crash reports, or behavioural analytics. No third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDK is included.
2. Data stored locally on your device
To make the expedition persistent, the app stores local files in its private application storage, including:
- your expedition progress, discoveries, museum entries, upgrades, world seed, and current run state;
- a surface checkpoint used when a run ends or is resumed;
- the local setting that records whether you asked the support notice not to appear again.
This information remains on your device and is not sent to us. Android normally removes it when the app is uninstalled. There is no account-based restore or cloud synchronisation.
3. Network access and permissions
The Google Play build does not request the INTERNET permission and does not make background network connections. It requests no sensitive runtime permission. The game may use ordinary touch, keyboard, display, audio, and local file APIs needed for play.
4. Support and external links
The free Google Play edition may show a support notice after several minutes of play and periodically thereafter. It offers voluntary links to PayPal and the game's Itch.io page. These links open an external service only after you tap them; the app does not receive or store your payment details. The contribution is not a purchase, does not unlock digital content, and is not processed through Google Play Billing. PayPal and Itch.io handle activity on their own sites under their own privacy policies.
5. Children
Dig for Home does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If a future version introduces an online or data-collection feature, this policy will be updated before that feature is enabled.
6. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be published at this same URL with a new effective date.
